Wild Island Tastes was launched in 2016. Joan and Anna chose the name to reflect the beauty and unique flavours of their glorious island home, situated between the Southern Ocean and the Tasman Sea.

Blessed with the cleanest air in the world and pure, ample rainfall, the volcanic soils and temperate climate nurture a treasure trove of fruits, berries, spices, honey and passionate producers.

A life of growing up on dairy farms for Anna and Joan has given them a great love for the land both cultivated and natural. Situated at the gateway to the pre-historic Tarkine Forest in North West Tasmania, Wild Island Tastes is inspired every day by their environment, sights, sounds and smells of this dramatic and ancient landscape.
